My senior year in high school I took a class called American problems and I put 12 of these on charts around the room. Once a week we would read several magazines: Time, Post, I forget what else . And the next time that we read them was very interesting , as students started pointing out the forms of propaganda they were seeing in the magazines. Then in the book we were using. Then started using them.
