When I was a kid my dad asked me why I drew mouse holes ∩ on things and liked to have one drawn on something by my bed at night, I explained that I preferred empty tombs to crosses.
Later, I enjoyed learning that my mark: ‘∩’ stands for the logic symbol for “intersection of sets”.
