I am thankful for our children and for the many things I have learned from them. I remember about 24 years ago when we lived in North Platte we belonged to a small branch. For you that have had the privilege of having attended a small branch you know that everyone has one or more callings. I was serving in a couple of positions when I was given another assignment. I accepted it but I guess I was complaining a little at home. I recall saying I thought I was doing my share and wondered why I was asked to do more. My youngest son who was 14 at the time told me and I quote “Dad, everyone must do their share. It’s what you do after you do your share that really counts.” I have found this to be wise council. It works in our church duties at our place of employment, or in service to others.
