At my favorite bakery when the bread is too hot and some of the bread types they cannot slice it for you but that got me thinking their reasons why I would not want them to slice it sometimes.
For example:
Toast Cut: default cut by bread slicing machine
Sandwich Cut: thinner cut to avoid overwhelming sandwich contents (season)
Diet Cut: sandwich cut with diet spread
Pocket Cut: sandwich cut leaving stop and a side connected (toast before filling)
Oil Cut: wedge cut with slanted cuts back toward top to fill with light olive oil (cherry tomato slices or sun-dried tomato pieces)
Cake Cut: wedge cut of Cinnamon Chip, instead of oil after toasting spread light frosting or wiped cream
Texas Toast Cut: thicker, after toasting cut into wedges for dunking in soup
Biscotti Cut: Texas season, toast, cut into strips for dipping (season to match)
Cheese Cut: Texas toast cut with channels for thin cheese slices (season top with sprinkles)
Pizza Cut: scooped Texas toast for pizza fixings leaving crust (oil removed piece and place on top, crisp)
