We really appreciated the adults who attended our concerts! I moved from a North Platte, Nebraska to spend my Senior year in Bountiful, Utah. North Platte was supportive of their Senior High band, very well attended concerts.
We formed a stage band because our parents grew up in the WWII big band era; to try to restore some of the joy in their memories, their lost youth. The Class of 69 grew up through the Vietnam era, we related. We too lost classmates too young to war.

The best way to see the nobility and unity of how differently women overcome adversity and celebrate winning is in sports.
I am proud of these young women’s toughness. Tearfully reminds me of U.S.A.’s noble military women’s sacrifice.
