How Astronomers Came to Think We Are Probably Not Alone

    If there are billions of Earth-like planets out there, the possibility of life existing somewhere other than Earth suddenly goes from seeming like an odds-against to an odds-on notion.

I am posting this because of how many people told me, the scientists saying there were no other habitable plants supported their being an atheist. Not that this proves there is a God but just the scientists changed the paradigm on them.
