Religious Freedom: A Precious Individual Value and Public Good
-
Religious freedom is not only a “precious value to the individual,” but also “an important public good that strengthens all of society.” That’s the message from Von G. Keetch, the Chief Outside Legal Counsel for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in a blogging panel at religion news website Patheos.com. His essay is featured alongside several others in a Patheos Public Square debate about the vitality of religious freedom in the United States.
Religious Freedom: A Precious Individual Value and Public Good
Von G. Keetch, the Chief Outside Legal Counsel for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Whether we are religious or not, we all have a personal stake in protecting religious liberty because all of us reap its benefits.”
